Travel Policy
All planning and management fees are non-refundable. These fees reflect the time, research, and expertise dedicated to designing a personalized travel experience for you.
Travel Documentation
It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they have valid and appropriate travel documentation—including passports, visas, and any required health certifications. Entry and exit requirements vary by destination, and it is essential that all documents are up-to-date and compliant with current regulations.
- A valid passport is the most reliable form of identification for international travel.
- Incomplete or incorrect documentation may result in delays, denied boarding, or entry refusal—without eligibility for a refund.
- Changes to travel dates or length of stay may impact document requirements.
Visas & Health Requirements
Any visa or health guidance provided by Blue Bird Travel is based on the information you share with us. While we offer current advice to the best of our ability, requirements can change at any time—especially close to your travel dates. It is your responsibility to verify final documentation and health requirements before departure.
- Some countries require visas, international health certificates, vaccinations, or special travel permits.
- For cruise travel, a valid passport is required regardless of port regulations.
- Travelers with a criminal record may be denied entry even with proper documentation.
- Re-entry into Canada requires appropriate ID such as a valid passport, permanent resident card, or visa. For official guidance, we recommend reviewing the Government of Canada’s travel resources at voyage.gc.ca.
Domestic Travel ID Requirements
For travel within Canada, all passengers must carry government-issued photo identification. Children under 16 should carry valid proof of identity, even if it does not include a photo.
Cancellations & Changes
Blue Bird Travel does not charge cancellation or change fees.
However, please be aware:
- Airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other suppliers may apply their own change or cancellation fees—sometimes up to 100% of the booking value.
- Clients are responsible for covering any supplier-imposed fees.
- If a booking is cancelled and you’re eligible for a refund, Blue Bird Travel will release funds only after they are received from the supplier.
- Full supplier terms and conditions will be provided prior to booking.
